The Office of Research, Innovation and Development (ORID) is pleased to inform the University community about the United Nations Coding4Integrity Hackathon Series.
This hackathon is hosted by University of Pretoria (UP) from September 12 – 13, 2024 in collaboration with Stellenbosch University, South Africa's National Institute for Theoretical and Computational Sciences (NITheCS) and the Switzerland-based Knowledge Foundation.
The 2nd Coding4Integrity series is aimed at challenging young software developers with the task of creating a digital AI-based learning environment on anti-corruption. The series is composed of four yearly events focusing on two specific technology components of the final AI product. The 2024 cycle of events is focusing on AI and DeComm (Decentralized Commerce).
Target: It is open to (ages 18 - 35 years)
