Ms. Deborah Akyeampon

Deborah Akyeampon is a Junior Research Development Officer at the University of Ghana and is part of the Research Performance Team. The team monitors, evaluates and interprets data on rankings, publications and develops mechanisms for fostering performance improvements among internal stakeholders. We are also responsible for establishing University –Industry partnerships to promote research in areas of industrial/national interest among others.
Prior to joining University of Ghana in February 2018, she worked with Strategic African Securities Limited as a Corporate Finance and Research Analyst with my core strengths being in Corporate Finance, Deal Origination and Finance Industry Research. She was part of the team of Joint Bookrunners for the Multi-Currency Longer Dated Bond Issuance Programme by the Government of Ghana. This programme was successful in issuing the inaugural USD local bond valued at US$94.64 million for 2-year, a 10-year and 15-year callable bond.
She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Banking and Finance and a Master of Philosophy in Finance degree both from the University of Ghana.
