Mr. Michael Portuphy

Michael joined ORID in January 2019 assigned to the Technology Transfer and Intellectual Property Services (TTIPS) team. His primary responsibility is industry engagement where he is tasked to develop mechanisms to enhance UG-Industry relations. Michael comes with enormous field experience due to his previous roles as Pharmaceutical Sales Executive at GR Industries and INTAS Pharmaceuticals. He also taught chemistry at Alpha College of Technology and Preset Pacesetters Senior High School. He was also a Teaching Assistant in the Chemistry Department at the University of Ghana. Michael holds a Master of Philosophy degree in Radiation Protection and Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Ghana. He can be contacted via moportuphy@ug.edu.gh
