The Noguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research has won bid

The Noguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research has won a bid to host the 9th West African Research and Innovation Management Association (WARIMA) Workshop and Conference in November 2015. WARIMA organises annual meetings and conferences to assess the state of research and research management in the West African sub-region. The final output of these discussions have often been transformed into advocacy materials that focuses on challenges and how to factor research into policy-thinking of governments, Universities and other tertiary institutions in West African.

To further sensitise the West African research community on research and innovation issues, WARIMA is organising its 9th International Conference and Workshops on the theme “Research and Innovation for Human Development: Role of National Institutions in Addressing Threats to Emerging Economies”. The Conference and Workshops will be held at the Noguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research (NMIMR), University of Ghana, from 23rd – 26th  November, 2015.
