Logical Framework Approach and Results Framework Training

The Office of Research, Innovation and Development, ORID, with funding from the Building Stronger Universities 3 Project (BSU 3), warmly invites you to a two-day training program on the Logical Framework Approach (LFA) and the Results Framework for managing both domestic and international development projects.

This training program is targeted particularly at all Principal Investigators, Project Staff and all staff involved with Research Administration at the University of Ghana.

The training program on Logical Framework Approach (LFA) is an introduction course for interested participants with either none or only limited knowledge of LFA and will present an introduction to the methodology including how to conduct a problem analysis and a stakeholder analysis, and how to convert these analyses into an objective oriented project planning matrix. Through cases and exercises, participants will be led to discuss the elements of the LFA matrix i.e., objectives, outcomes, outputs, activities, inputs, success indicators risks and critical assumptions. They will also be able to test the logical linkages between the elements and identify the advantages as well as limitations of the LFA as a project planning approach.
