Research Development Officer

Ezekiel is in-charge of research management and development at the College of Basic and Applied Sciences, specifically for the Schools of Biological Sciences, Engineering, and the Physical and Mathematical Sciences. He graduated from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) with a BSc (Hons) Degree in Chemistry and obtained an Mphil in Environmental Science from the University of Ghana

As a research development officer he is responsible for the identification of research funding opportunities, proposal development, proposal submission, tracking of submission up to contract award level and the provision of day to day activities support for research.

Before assuming responsibility as a research development officer at the University of Ghana, he was a Standards officer at the Ghana Standards Authority. He served as a Representative on the Environmental Compliance and Enforcement Network (CEN) sub-committee of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and also at the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) desk; liaising between the Ghana Standards Authority and the ISO. Other duties included Preparing working documents for Standards development, assisting in the development and revision of International Standards, identification of national standardization needs and promotion of standards in various sectors. He also served as a Quality Coordinator, liaising with Management Representative for effective implementation of Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001: 2008) 

Prior to all these he served as an Environmental Consultant for a number of Environmental Consulting Firms.
