CALL FOR APPLICATIONS: COMMONWEALTH SCHOLARSHIPS

The Office of Research, Innovation and Development is pleased to bring to the attention of the University Community, the Commonwealth low and middle-income countries under the Commonwealth Master’s Scholarship. This Scholarship allows successful applicants to benefit from the expertise provided by universities in low and middle-income countries in the commonwealth. It is majority funded by the Commonwealth Scholarship and Fellowship Plan (CSFP) which is an international programme under which Commonwealth countries offer scholarships and fellowships to citizens of other member states. The scholarship affords talented students the opportunity to gain a Master’s degree whiles developing new skills and experiencing life in another country.

THE SCHOLARSHIPS

· The scholarships are fully funded, providing full tuition fees, a return economy flight, an arrival allowance and a regular stipend (living allowance).

· They are limited to Master’s study only and are not applicable to distance learning courses.

ELIGIBILITY

  • · Applicants must be a citizen of a Commonwealth country, other than the host country.
  • · Applicants must hold a Bachelors degree with a minimum of a second class upper.

N/B: Applicants cannot apply to a university in their home country.

DEADLINE

The deadline for submission must be by 11th March 2018 (midnight GMT).
